Message from the founder

When I founded Hands of Hope Radio in April 2021, it was more than just the launch of a radio station—it was the beginning of a movement. A movement to amplify the voices that too often go unheard, to create a platform for women, girls, and youth to rise, speak, and lead.

As Sierra Leone’s first female-owned radio station, Hands of Hope 100.5 FM stands as a testament to resilience, bold leadership, and the unwavering belief that change begins with dialogue. We exist to inform, inspire, and ignite transformation within our communities—one program, one voice, and one story at a time.

Through our diverse programming, we address pressing issues such as gender equality, climate change, governance, civic responsibility, and youth empowerment. But more importantly, we do it with heart, integrity, and purpose. We’ve become a home for storytellers, advocates, farmers, artists, teachers, and everyday citizens who want to build a better tomorrow.

I am deeply proud of the passionate team behind this vision and grateful to our listeners, partners, and supporters who continue to believe in the power of communication for social good.

Together, let us continue to uplift, challenge, and transform. The hope we broadcast is the hope we live.
